Cool uncomfortable staircase

Location is excellent. Breakfasts are delicious and nutritious.
Lived on the third floor, the stairs are very steep and narrow.
-
Comfortable bed, everything is in the room, breakfast, though modest, but very tasty, the staff is nice, kind.
Room size, very small room.
-
Beautiful hotel!
Monotonous breakfasts, no fridge in the room.
-
great breakfast, fast wifi, excellent location!!!
Very cool stairs!!!
-
Great location, good breakfasts.
Narrow staircases and very high.
-
Friendly staff and good food and nice location.
Getting to the top floor was a bit of a struggle especially with suitcases.
-
Great location. Breakfast room very bright with a great view of Amsterdam early morning cyclists commuting to work. Comfortable accommodation and very friendly and helpful staff.
-
Location easy but still a lot to walk to the city.
The steps are too steep & narrow and having bags is not easy to carry up the stairs. No proper ventillation in the room and can get quite stuffy during the night time.
-
The Hotel was very central and you could walk to everything. The staff were very help full and realy made my stay very nice. The staff are very friendly too. The room was very clean. I would stay there again. Thanks
I think there should be a tea or coffee machine in the rooms and a hairdryer in the rooms too.Other than that everything was great and would go back again. Thanks

Location is attractive, and handy for the nicer parts of town (Jordaan, the 9 Streets, etc.), whilst being also within 15 minutes stroll of the main shopping, museum and nightlife areas. Staff were approachable and friendly. Room was comfortable and clean, with a good tv and great view from 3 windows. Decent shower too.
We were unable to get a second set of keys to our room- not a huge deal, but a bit inconvenient. And would have loved tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

This hotel is very charming. The location isterrific, the views from the balcony are priceless, overlooking the Prinsengracht and the chaos on the road below. We will definitely stay there again when we return to Amsterdam.
TV reception in our room was poor.
-
The room and view were excellent. The staff was most helpful and the airport service was appreciated. Location was very convenient and close to several good restaurants. Overall a very nice stay.
The stairs in some cases may be a challenge.
-
The location could not be much better. Having breakfast (which is quite ok) right on Prinzengracht and "the 9 streets" is pretty nice. Absolutely the best value among the pricy deals in Amsterdam.

We found it to be welcoming and charming We wanted a flavor of canal house living and we got it. We stayed on the 2nd floor on the corner We had 3 large floor to ceiling windows one of which opened as french doors. We looked out onto two canals and bridges . We loved the neighborhood many small shops and cafes lovely for strolling. It was also convenient to the tram at Westerkirk. The breakfast room was airy and light looking out on the canals. With plenty of tables to accomadate a full house which consisted of guests of all ages.We wished we had reserved more nites as Amsterdam had so much to offer and it was our first time. There. We were celebrating our 50th wedding Anniversary and this was the bonus after a two week rivercruise from Budapest to Amsterdam. We would stay again if possible.
